Intergenerational Music Making (IMM) will create intergenerational hubs which are strategically located in libraries, museums, care homes, and churches. Within the hubs, they will deliver workshops covering creative health song writing, early years sessions, song and dance, youth social action, and dementia-focused music sessions for people with learning disabilities and caregivers. They will be working closely with local social providers, NHS health teams, and community officers. The goal is to address community needs like loneliness, isolation, mental health challenges, and the impact of dementia and Covid-19.
