I Speak Music – Next Generation is a county-wide programme of activity that uses music as a tool to support integration, cross cultural learning and community cohesion between displaced young people and their host community peers.

The programme aims to have regional and national impact by energising the sector to provide life transforming opportunities for displaced children and young people.

It is delivered through three core strands of activity:

  • Music Workshops for children in schools, community centres and in accommodation settings for refugees and asylum seekers
  • Music Workshops for adolescents through the Music Connects programme which brings together displaced teenagers with their local host peers
  • CPD and training opportunities to share knowledge with the sector and develop a diverse and equipped workforce
