This funding opportunity is now closed.

Call for Projects

Arts Partnership Surrey is looking to commission impactful projects and activities that deliver strong outcomes for communities in Surrey. Successful projects will demonstrate a clear alignment with one or more of the partnership’s strategic priorities:

  • Economic growth/thriving high streets
  • Community empowerment/engaging under-served residents
  • Health and wellbeing/mental health and social isolation

We are inviting proposals from artists and creative organisations who are located in Surrey or have a particular interest in working in the county. We are particularly keen to engage practitioners from diverse backgrounds and under-served communities.

In the current round we are looking to commission projects with a financial contribution from Arts Partnership Surrey of up to £10,000 per project. Strong proposals are deemed as those that can evidence partnership funding from other sources, offer a return on investment and/or deliver a lasting impact.

Project activity should happen in each or most of the member boroughs which include Elmbridge, Runnymede, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, and Waverley. As a supportive and proactive partner, Arts Partnership Surrey can help identify partners and locate activity where it is most needed. Arts Partnership Surrey may advise on delivery locations to meet local need.

We are interested in supporting a range of art forms and are looking for proposals which are creatively ambitious.

This commission is for one-year projects taking place from April 2025 and finishing by March 2026.
